
Drypoint etching by the renowned Scottish artist Sir David Young Cameron showing ruins of the Belgian town of Ypres in 1917, during the First World War. Signed in pencil. In fair condition, remounted in its original frame which reflects its age. There is a very faint, unobtrusive sun stripe running top to bottom on the left side of the image.
Measures 26 cm wide by 19 cm deep (49 cm by 37 cm in its frame).

Signed lower right and titled by the artist this is a fine woodblock print by the English orientalist Ralph Kiggell showing two sumo wrestlers in mid-tussle. Numbered eight from a run of fifty. In good condition, newly framed.

A very nice view of one of Edinburgh’s historic closes – Lady Stair’s – just off the Royal Mile in the Old Town. The location of a 17th. century townhouse, built in 1622 for the Edinburgh baronet Sir William Gray of Pittendrum and acquired by Lady Stair almost a century later, This work is in good condition, signed and titled in pencil and remounted in its original frame. I have no information about this artist.
A lovely etching of the historic Tolbooth in Edinburgh’s Old Town by the Scottish artist Louis Weirter. Built in 1591 this was the centre of Administration for the Canongate area of the city and is now a museum and a tavern. In good condition and in its original frame, this work is signed and titled in pencil by the artist.
Perhaps a wee drop the Chagalls here in this very nice artists proof etching by Sally Orr, (Sally Wild). Sally, apart from being a very fine artist, is also a bit of a crofter with her own chickens, ducks and sheep and this image reflects aspects of her love of the land. Here, the title refers to Doll, a rural crofting township near Brora in Sutherland. In good condition, newly framed and signed and titled by the artist
