istercian abbey of Orval, in Luxemburg. This etching is In good condition, recently remounted, and is signed in ink. Signature looks like ‘D’Arsat’ or ‘Larsat”. Orval Abbey was founded in 1132 in the Gaume region of Belgium and is located in Villers-devant-Orval, part of Florenville in the province of Luxembourg.

A lovely little etching in colours from the Barbizon School in France showing a village scene with an old man sitting in front of his cottage and a worker pushing a wheelbarrow down the lane in front of the house. You can see some chickens in the foreground. This work, after J.F. Millet, bears an indistinct signature, looks like “Vedey”. In good condition.

A strange little etching in colours by the Latvian artist and architect Juris Pansov showing figures walking along a path with a tall wood behind. Three of the figures appear to be human and three, in white, would appear to have wings. In good condition, and pencil signed and numbered 5 from a run of 7, this work is titled in Latvian.
