A lovely little etching in colours from the Barbizon School in France showing a village scene with an old man sitting in front of his cottage and a worker pushing a wheelbarrow down the lane in front of the house. You can see some chickens in the foreground. This work, after J.F. Millet, bears an indistinct signature, looks like “Vedey”. In good condition.

A strange little etching in colours by the Latvian artist and architect Juris Pansov showing figures walking along a path with a tall wood behind. Three of the figures appear to be human and three, in white, would appear to have wings. In good condition, and pencil signed and numbered 5 from a run of 7, this work is titled in Latvian.

A striking and strange lithograph showing a bull with its front legs crossed and head resting on its left leg in a pensive manner with a dog howling at the moon and a matador (left, inset). An exquisite bronze and ivory figure of a young woman reading, dressed in a headdress and elaborately embroidered costume in the pre-Rapheite style, holding the pages of her book in two hands. By the French artist Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, who numbered Rodin amongst his students. Made circa 1880-1900, this figure can be found in a number of sizes, either as a solid bronze figure or in and bronze with ivory head and hands, as can be seen in this present work. In fine condition.
Measures 61 cm high.
