A lovely image of the rocky coastline at Kerroch in Brittany by the French artist Auguste Nayel (1845-1909). This watercolour is in good condition and is signed and precisely dated to Le Matin, 24th Aout, 1900, by the artist. This work has been re-framed at some time and is behind non-reflective glass. There is a framer’s label for a Lorient company verso.
Measures 43 cm wide by 28 cm deep (64 cm by 52 cm in its frame).
