A colourful and vibrant still life by the contemporary French artist Bruno Lemoine showing a wicker basket laden with flowers, apples and grapes. Signed, lower left, by the artist and in good condition. The heavy plaster frame is a tad shabby chic – a bit bruised and showing its age – but it works well with this picture. This is a painting to cheer you up and make you smile!

A very nice oil on canvas by the French artist Alfred-Marie Le Petit showing a landscape with a rural building in a state of disrepair. This work is signed, lower right, and is marked “Gimel” and dated 26th of August 1933 on the stretcher. Possibly shows a view of Gimel-les-Cascades in Limousin, France. The picture is in good condition. There are two small repairs to the canvas and the frame is “shabby chic” with some of the gold gilding rubbed off. A very attractive piece, nevertheless.

A witty and quite delightful little watercolour depicting a jockey clearing a hurdle which comprises the date “1954”. Initialled “J.C.” this work was acquired in France so is presumably French. In good condition – an ideal gift for someone born that year.
