An etching entitled “Abby [sic.] Church at St Albans Apr’ 9 1779.” showing a view of St Albans Abbey on the right with three men in the foreground and cattle on the left. The Abbey gateway can just be made out in the background, making this the South side of the Abbey, looking towards the West End. Drawn, etched, published and sold by Benjamin Green, in London in Sep.1782. In fair condition bearing in mind its considerable age, in its original frame.

Dating from 1846 this is a fine stipple engraving by John Henry Robinson after the artist John Jackson, showing a half-length portrait of Georgina Lady Dover (1804-1860), wife of George J W. Agar-Ellis, Baron Dover and daughter of George, 6th Earl of Carlisle This original work is in its original circular oak frame and mount and is in fair condition bearing in mind its considerable age. The image itself is quite clean although the work overall, is lightly browned.
