A super little etching from the 1940′ or 50’s showing the head of a Borzoi dog by the English dog specialist David Gee. This work, from Gee’s “Faithful Friends” series, is in good condition and signed by the artist.
A very old watercolour by the Scottish artist Finlay Mackinnon showing the shore of Loch Maree on the West Coast of Scotland and identifying a venerable tree which he calls “The Old Osprey Tree.” This work is in good condition and signed and dated 1903 by the artist. Verso on the actual artwork but now obscured by the framing are a few barely legible notes by the artist about the numbers of eggs laid in the nest in the late 1880’s.
