Sally Orr studied at Edinburgh College of Art, taking the Andrew Grant Scholarship in Printing. She sold one artwork to the late Queen Mother who had a residence at the Castle of Mey, in Caithness, in the most Northerly part of the Highlands of Scotland.

Perhaps a wee drop the Chagalls here in this very nice artists proof etching by Sally Orr, (Sally Wild). Sally, apart from being a very fine artist, is also a bit of a crofter with her own chickens, ducks and sheep and this image reflects aspects of her love of the land.
