This work is signed in pencil and bears a dedication to the artist’s friend, the eminent landscape, figure and animal painter John Pedder (1850-1929). The inscription reads: “G. Clausen to J. Pedder with all good wishes for the New Year, Dec.27 1900.” This work is in good condition and bears a label, verso, for Heron Pictures of Whitchurch-On-Thames.
