
Another lovely lithograph entitled “The High Street, Edinburgh” by the London-born artist Samuel Swarbreck. Dates from 1837 and is one from a folio of 26 tinted lithos issued by Swarbreck in 1839 entitled Sketches in Scotland, Drawn On The Stone From Nature. In good condition in its original frame and mount. Signed, dated and titled in the plate.
Measures 31 cm wide by 44 cm deep (55 cm by 68 cm in its frame).
