A very striking  abstract image in the French “Tachiste” manner by the London-born artist Frank Fidler.  Signed by the artist and in good condition in its original frame and mount.

*Tachisme (Tachism), was a style of painting, popular in France in the 1940’s and 50’s.  The name is derived from the French word “tache” meaning “stain”,  said to have been first used with regards to the movement in 1951.
