A lovely little etching in colours from the Barbizon School in France showing a village scene with an old man sitting in front of his cottage and a worker pushing a wheelbarrow down the lane in front of the house. You can see some chickens in the foreground. This work, after J.F. Millet, bears an indistinct signature, looks like “Vedey”. In good condition.
