A Bronze Group Of Two Racehorses and Jockeys, After Paul Loiseau (1861-1927)

 A bronze model of a pair of racehorses with jockey up and in mid jump over a naturalistically cast hedge, on similarly cast base, after  the French artist Paul Louis Emile Loiseau-Rousseau (1861-1927) and  bearing  the signature E. Loiseau.  The patination is  dark brown  and the model is  mounted on a veined black marble moulded base.
Measures  37 cm wide by 40 cm long by 16 cm high  by 16 cm high on its base.

L’Abbaye D’Orval, Belgium, etching indistinctly signed

A view from the cloisters into a courtyard of the ancient Cistercian abbey of Orval, in Luxemburg. This etching is  In good condition, recently remounted, and  is signed in ink. Signature looks like ‘D’Arsat’ or ‘Larsat”. Orval Abbey was founded in 1132 in the Gaume region of Belgium and is located in Villers-devant-Orval, part of Florenville in the province of Luxembourg.

French Village Scene- Barbizon School, after J.F. Millet, Signed

A lovely  little etching in colours from the Barbizon School in France showing a village scene with an old man sitting in front of his cottage and a worker pushing a wheelbarrow down the lane in front of the house. You can see some chickens in the foreground. This work, after J.F. Millet, bears an indistinct signature, looks like “Vedey”. In good condition.
