Xiang Silou is a Professor at the Fine Arts Institute of Sichuan Normal University in Chengdu, Sichuan and a master of the traditional art of woodblock printing. His work  has been seen at the Ricefield Chinese Arts and Cultural Centre  in Glasgow and he showed work there at the Glasgow Black History Month in 2005.

Spring Rain In Jianglan by Xiang Silou (Contemporary)

An absolutely stunning woodcut engraving by the Chinese master Xiang Silou  entitled “Spring “Rain In Jianglan”. Bears various labels, verso.  Signed and titled by the artist, this work is generally in good condition. Some light age browning and light foxing to the margins.

Measures 48 cm wide by 32 cm deep (69 cm by 55 cm in its frame`).
