Born in 1961 and brought up in Kilbarchan, Scotland but now living in Shaftesbury, England, Lindsay Keir is a graduate of Glasgow School of Art and the Royal College of Art. She exhibits all over the UK in private galleries and public institutions, showing regularly at the Royal Scottish Academy, the Royal Glasgow Institute and the Royal Scottish Society of Watercolour Artists. Her work. is held in a number of private collections in the UK, Scandinavia and the USA.
An absolutely delightful work in mixed media with collage, titled “Cottage Chick” by the Kilbarchan-born artist Lindsay Keir. Her signature, lower right, is partially obscured by the mount which is in fine condition as is the original frame The works is stamped, verso, and comes with a label signed and titled by the artist.
