Lee tucker is a New Orleans French Quarter artist who has been working since 1971, specialising in acrylic and watercolor paintings, sketches, fine art prints and photographs. Whilst most of his work is focussed in New Orleans, the French Quarter and Louisiana, his depictions of street scenes can be found in galleries in England and the US, and in corporate and private collections worldwide.
Signed by the contemporary New Orleans artist Lee Tucker, this work is entitled “Chartres at Dumaine looking towards Jackson Square”, and is typical of this artist’s work around the city where he lives. In fine condition, this has recently been remounted and reframed.
Measures 24.5 cm wide by 32 cm deep (46 cm by 55 cm in its frame and mount).
