The landscape painter, etcher and illustrator John Fullwood worked in the West Midlands during the last quarter of the 19th century. Born in 1854, he studied at Paris and Birmingham. He showed 21 works at the Royal Academy, 99 at the Royal Society of British Artists and 67 at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists. He was a member of the Royal Society of British Artists and one of the oldest members of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.
A nice little etching showing the Falls Of Lochay near Killin, in Stirlingshire, in the centre of Scotland. Signed and titled in pencil by the artist and in good condition in its original frame.
Measures 13.5 cm wide by 26 cm deep (26 cm by 39 cm in its frame).
