An Extensive Plein Aire Landscape by Alexander Brownlie Docharty(1862-1940)

A very-well realised extensive landscape, painted in plein aire most probably in France, by the Glasgow artist Alexander Brownlie Docharty.   Dated 1894 and signed by the artist, this work is in good condition having recently been reframed.

Measures 36 cm wide by 27 cm deep (43 cm by 35 cm in its frame).
