Albert Dunnington was born in Manchester and showed at least one work there at the Manchester City Gallery. However he seemed to favour the landscapes of Scotland since many of his recorded works feature the mountains and glens, lochs and harbours, the livestock and people of this part of the world. His works do well at auction.
