A delightful and obviously old watercolour showing a rural scene in a fishing hamlet, Here a fisherman, carrying his net, is being greeted by his family, presumably after a successful day the sea. Unsigned, this work is in good condition. IN the manner of the English artist William Payne (1760-1830).
