A delightful, large  pastel by the Edinburgh artist Matthew Draper.  Entitled “Mysterious Light”, it shows an atmospheric, moody view of  the city.  In good condition, in its original frame and behind museum-quality glass. A Bronze Group Of Two Racehorses and Jockeys, After Paul Loiseau (1861-1927)

 A bronze model of a pair of racehorses with jockey up and in mid jump over a naturalistically cast hedge, on similarly cast base, after  the French artist Paul Louis Emile Loiseau-Rousseau (1861-1927) and  bearing  the signature E. Loiseau.  The patination is  dark brown  and the model is  mounted on a veined black marble moulded base.
Measures  37 cm wide by 40 cm long by 16 cm high  by 16 cm high on its base.

Another original golfing cartoon by  the English artist Peter Hobbs, dating from the 1930’s. This work is untitled but it seems that what we have here is  a rather fashionably-dressed sportsman who seems to be having some kind of an issue with a golf ball. Ah well, c’est la vie,  even on the best-dressed greens.  This work is in good condition in its original frame.
