A Bronze Group Of Two Racehorses and Jockeys, After Paul Loiseau (1861-1927)

 A bronze model of a pair of racehorses with jockey up and in mid jump over a naturalistically cast hedge, on similarly cast base, after  the French artist Paul Louis Emile Loiseau-Rousseau (1861-1927) and  bearing  the signature E. Loiseau.  The patination is  dark brown  and the model is  mounted on a veined black marble moulded base.
Measures  37 cm wide by 40 cm long by 16 cm high  by 16 cm high on its base.

The Towers of Durham by Arthur Heslop (1881-1955)

A lovely etching showing the impressive  towers of Durham Cathedral, home to the the Bishop of Durham. The main tower, at a height of just under 65 metres, stands above  the city of Durham and the castle, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Etching by Arthur Heslop,signed and titled in pencil and in good condition remounted in its original frame.

Measures 33 cm wide by 28 cm deep (53 cm by 48 cm in its frame.)
