SOLD - no longer availableThe English landscape and marine painter William Daniell was an excellent printmaker who is perhaps best known for his steel engravings and acquatints, particularly those, such as this, produced from the watercolours he painted during a prolonged and ambitious journey round the coastline of Britain, for his book – A Voyage Round Great Britain. His work was exhibited at the Royal Academy and the British Institution and he became a Royal Academician in 1822.
