Tag: Lorna Cassidy

Interested in local history and in recording prominent local buildings such as factories and mills, Lorna Cassidy has been making prints of the Wycombe district in Buckinghamshire for more than 50 years. Her work has long been recognised, both for its artistic and historical merit, as being an important record of the changing face of the area, and the local museum holds some 30 of her pictures, many of which show buildings long since vanished. She trained at High Wycombe Art School and at the London School of Printing.
