James Orr, who now lives in Ayrshire where he has been painting for many years, exhibits regularly in the annual Royal Scottish Academy and Royal Glasgow Institute exhibitions and his work is held in a number of collections, notably in the personal collection of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. Having originally studied part-time at the Glasgow School of Art, he has become a regular exhibitor in a number of London galleries and has also shown in London, New York, Paris, Brussels, Dublin and Hong Kong.
