A very nice extensive landscape showing Loch Hourn, the 14-mile-long sea loch which runs from the Sound of Sleat, opposite the Isle of Skye, by the Glasgow artist Tom Hovell Shanks (b.1921). This oil on board, signed by the artist, is in good condition in its original frame.
Measures 68.6 cm wide by 33 cm deep (78.5 cm by 43 cm in its mount and frame).
