A very nice extensive landscape showing Loch Hourn, the 14-mile-long sea loch which runs from the Sound of Sleat, opposite the Isle of Skye, by the Glasgow artist Tom Hovell Shanks (b.1921). This oil on board, signed by the artist, is in good condition in its original frame.

An extensive Highland landscape with a Scots Pine tree in the foreground and a cottage in the distance by the well-listed Scottish artist Alexander Wellwood Rattray (1849-1902).   This oil on canvas is in its original frame and is in good condition, ready to hang. The work is unsigned but, it bears a signature, verso, of his daughter Annie Wellwood Rattray together with a stamped confirmation  that this is the  work of her father.
