A small waterclour depicting a young girl standing in front of a broken egg-shell from which she has just emerged. Signed verso by the contemporary Glasgow artist Joe Hargan and entitled “Handmaiden”. In good condition, framed and glazed. Bears a label, verso, from the Quin Gallery, St Andrews.
Measures 8.5 cm wide by 9.5 cm deep (17.5 cm by 19 cm in its frame).
