Marion Notman, who died in 2018, was a very fine artist who studied at the Edinburgh College of Art and who showed extensively at galleries all over Scotland. Her work is held by the Royal Scottish Academy, The Highland Council, the Robert Gordon’s Institute and a number of other prestigious institutions in the UK.
A vibrant still life by the Scottish artist Marion Notman. A mixed-media work painted in 1997, this is signed, lower left, and is in good condition in its original frame and mount. Bears a label, verso, for the Art Supermarket together with a listing for the numerous prestigious shows and exhibitions in which this Tain, Ross-shire artist took part.
