The internationally-known British artist Ben Maile has exhibited worldwide and his work can be seen in a number of significant collections, including those of the British Royal family and major international corporations, in both commerce and industry. Maile, who built his reputation in Cornwall during the 50’s 60’s and 70’s with his semi-impressionist oils on canvas, is particularly famous for his Military and Marine paintings, and has been the only British artist ever to win the prestigious annual commission from the West Point Military Academy in America. His very first West Point print ’The Long Gray Line’ has become the most sought after of all time among the collectors of American militaria.
